Oris: A New Watch With a Hole

The Aquis Depth Gauge is back. Fondly known as ‘the watch with a hole’, it’s a diver’s watch with a depth gauge function that works by allowing water into the watch through an opening at 12 o’clock.
The new model has three significant upgrades.
Improved depth readings
We’ve reengineered the channel that runs around the outer edge of the crystal so that the gauge is more accurate and more legible.
Easier conversions
We’ve also re-engineered the case back so the meters-to-feet conversion chart is always set at 90 degrees to the 12 o’clock position, making it easier to read.
Quicker strap changes
And we’ve introduced the Oris-patented Quick Strap Change system so you can switch between the steel metal bracelet and rubber strap quickly, safely, and securely without needing a tool or a visit to a jeweler.
